The San Michele bridge, also known as the Calusco bridge, between the Calusco and Padernod’Adda stations of the Seregno-Bergamo line, is an iron arch bridge with mixed rail-road traffic. The bridge is made up of a single span made of iron beams with 150 meters of rope, which supports 7 scaffolding via two iron pylons with two levels of practicability (one railway and the other, elevated by 6.3 m, driveway) .
The interventions carried out on the structure were divided into typical interventions and concerned both the priest’s uprights and the diagonals.
