The works were carried out following the landslide event that affected the section of the former SS 19 in January 2019. The same were planned and carried out in two phases: the first phase dedicated to the immediate safety of the slope to avoid subsequent movements , as well as cleaning the landslide material and re-profiling the section; the second phase was carried out to allow the reopening of the road artery, through the creation of a 1,000 kjrockfall barrier of a cortical network to defend the stretch below the barrier.
The restoration of the road surface and the guardrails has completed the works.
